McNisky Matthias Jeantus is an architect / designer with a passion for experimental design, technology, hospitality, and social progress. Keeping on the pulse of culture, politics, psychology, economics, etc., his work engages the future of objects, cities, and the human condition.
Earning a B.Arch from Syracuse University School of Architecture, McNisky was awarded full-tuition and multiple travel scholarships. He is a licensed architect, and currently a Sr. Design Manager and Operations Lead for Tesla, Inc. Among accelerating how the Global Infrastructure Development org standardizes and scales, he leads the design and development of “customer-facing infrastructure” for the company’s fastest growing region, Asia-Pacific. Prior to Tesla, he has also worked for award-winning architecture and design practices such as, Rockwell Group, Kohn Pederson Fox, and Studio Daniel Libeskind. Well regarded as a diverse designer and critical systems thinker, McNisky has been an invited design critic by institutions such as Columbia University GSAPP and the Syracuse University School of Architecture.
In 2016 McNisky, started the property management company Malgre & Co. With the support of his siblings, he manages property in a dynamic urban market of New Jersey. Important to their work is educating tenants from low-income communities of color, on sustainable ways to better the themselves and the outcomes of their families.
McNisky has a deep weakness for good music, trying new things, and foods that fold (tacos, pizza, pastries, noodles, more tacos, etc.)
